Re: Once the dust settles...
because the Rugby Club don’t want any further development of BM. This is not true - beyond hear say from fans when has 'no further development' been said. Development to EFL standards may have been mentioned. I believe that it was DJ himself who said that the Rugby Club were against any further dev...

Re: Once the dust settles...
I take it you mean it won't belong to DFC? Yep. Remember the 36 inch water main going diagonally from open end that limits building. Surely we can't get rid of the Tin Shed - only part of Feethams we still have? Of course we could if it meant we could comply with the necessary ground grading requir...

Tell Watson and Mitchell “just go for mid table “ and the would run a mile.If we’re not “going for it” we might as well pack it in now.Promotion has got to be the aim and if it were to happen and we did come down straight away then so be it.We wouldn’t be the first it happened to and those clubs hav...

Re: Darlington V Southport
Just Sukar and Ngandu out injured according to the preview. SW seemed to indicate a few not fully match fit (think we can guess who) and also emphasized players need to train well to be considered, maybe implying that some currently aren't. Darlo 2-0 Southport. Nagandu has recovered and is availabl...

Taylor has been a liability all season and won’t get any better. If we can’t get Young for next season we need an upgrade on Teflon Tommy.real_darlo_85 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:13 pmThink the change in goal has got to be some sort of reason.

Re: Matty stays to end of season
Wonder if a season long loan would be out of the question for him .No idea when his birthday is but maybe 17/18 would be seen to be too young for an EFL club .
Unless the rumours about Man City taking him are true of course.Either way I hope this kid goes on to have a fantastic career in the game.

If Lawlor is fit then Barrow to left back and Hedley into midfield for me .He’s played there before, plenty of energy and aggression.Asuming Rivers and Liddle are out.

Maybe no news is good news and Lawler is fit and Barrow hasn’t broken his arm.
Or maybe you were expecting Messi till the end of the season.

Re: Darlington v Buxton
Armstrong looked utterly broken after beck left, and that very plainly seeped into the team. Jacob Blyth flopped, but he spent his whole time with us hearing interviews in which Armstrong implied he wasn't good enough. Whatever Armstrong did before then - and a whole load of it was good to great - ...

Saturday HAS to be followed up with something here, we can't afford to do our usual win 1 lose 3. Agree with you that Curry should replace Nelson who doesn't look like he'll ever score a goal again. Nelson doesn’t look as if he’ll be onside again never mind score a goal.Lost count of the times he w...

Broken record I know! , but how come we still have not signed a couple of creative players. They have been here long enough now surely to have made this happen. You telling me that the 3 N East big clubs don’t have any decent players who would benefit from a loan. Thought once transfer window close...

Need to find a way to win, if the midfield can’t produce the passes to cut through the oppositions defence, then we need to be more direct, try something different. I’m no tactician but if we can’t get any playmakers in we’ve got to try something else . No,you’re definitely not a tactitian.Go long ...
