Re: Season VOIDED

Everything else apart we must be one of the unluckiest clubs in the world for the first time in a generation we have cup runs which look like they've sorted our finances out and then this tragedy develops. I also wonder how many of our fans were looking forward to a last away day of the season week...

Farsley brought about 10 supporters to BM so hardly fruitful. As q4L has said, the league is already North and South,Or are you proposing a National League North North and a North South.??
Wonder what you like,it ain’t happening.

Don’t wish to be unkind to Craig Morley but it may be fortunate for the club that we are not carrying his wage at the present time. According to the match report York got a bit roughed up at Boston. Ainge made some rough tackles and it all turned a bit tasty. Our turn on Tuesday night, it’s a pity Leon Scott is no longer in the team. Aw I can't believe a team got roughed up I thought the game was all about pretty pretty footbal...

Re: League restructure

That's a lot of midweek fixtures, which is tough on part-time players & fans as well. We've had 8 already this season, 9 next week when we play Boston. Makes no difference. So in likelihood we'll have upwards of 10 away midweek fixtures which is an awful lot for a semi professional team. Why would ...

There's more grass on Blackwell than on this Oxford pitch as well. The grass is cut a bit shorter, but there's loads of sand all over it, and a muddy mess in the goalmouth. Grass on a pitch doesn't make it good. The Blackwell Meadows pitch may have grass on it, but I've seen flatter farmers fields....

Wouldn't we be better off finding a younger player who plays now like Jason did then ? It rarely goes well for 'second spells' especially after this length of time - I can only think of Lance Robson who really managed the trick. Also, the players we have are good enough.

To imply players may not be trying because they haven't yet had contract offers is completely disrespectful. We've all seen how genuine and committed the players are. Besides there are options on a lot of them. Also the surge which sent us soaring up the league hardly suggests that. Some players do...

Saturday will be tough, as we've played midweek, so we'll probably be a bit tired, against a rested team. I'd be delighted with a draw.

Mystified by complaints about the pitch to be honest. You won't find a much better one at this level. It looks in absolutely fine condition?! Less a complaint, more an observation. Having sampled that terrace and seen recent pictures and I'd be amazed if 900 people plus could be accommodated comfortably and safely on there. Why? Several steps deep and full pitch length, it'll hold 900 all day long. If memory serves, the terrace from the top end to the dugouts is 4 steps and 3f...
