Re: Extended ban

I think it appalling that the Club have 'named and shamed' on their official website and twitter account.

Surely this should have been kept private between the Club and the individual.

Whoever is in charge of PR needs to review the actions taken.

Re: Hospitality

Rather surprised that there is no hospitality package avialable for the Motherwell match. This would have been a great opportunity to showcase what the Club has to offer.

Re: Hospitality

At £45 this now puts our hospitality package as the most expensive in the division. Two fundamental problems remain: 1. The food quality is not up to standard for the price 2. There is no covered seating adjacent to the hospitality suite - it's not acceptabe asking patrons to walk to the other side ...

After todays game this is the current Form table over the past 5 matches - makes sobering reading (though may be worse of you ae a Spennymoor fan): 1. Altrincham 5 4 1 0 14:2 13 2. Brackley Town 5 4 1 0 9:2 13 3. Stockport 5 4 0 1 8:3 12 4. Chorley 5 3 2 0 9:1 11 5. Alfreton 5 3 2 0 7:3 11 6. Herefo...

Seemed to me that the referee blew to take the free kick and then after Thompson had taken it, blew again because a player was receiving treatment 50yds away on the touch line ?
He wasn't injured he was tieing up his boots! Farcical.

And speaking of dugouts, from the raised up position of the balcony you could notice that there was so much activity from the Telford one, cajouling, organising, even at times skulduggery-but from ours? I too like theoriginalfatcat viewed the match from the clubhouse balcony and would echo his comm...

Re: FC United V Darlington match thread

I phoned FCUM yesterday to try and arrange disabled parking and seating for the match. Quite shambolic. Do not press '1' for tickets this transfers you to their booking agency Eventim that first of all couldn't find the match, secondly said it was not available then said it was fully booked. All wro...

Re: Southport v Darlington

Just back from the game. How it ended 0-0 I'll never know, if Southport had had a half decent striker they could have won 4-0 (or more). However, the positive to take from this was the stout and resolute defending from Darlo having defenders in the right place (on the goal line) at the right time. I...

Re: Ashton United on Monday

Well that was a much better performance than Saturday. Clearly some enforced changes with Glabraith out through injury and Collins seemingly out of the picture. Ashton scored two cracking goals early on - not much the defence could have done about either of them (those that criticised the defence fo...

Re: Darlington V Altrincham Match thread

This must be the poorest display that I've seen from Darlo in a long, long, time. It wasn't so much the defeat but the manner in which we lost - we went down with no fight at all. The team seemed slow, unfit and as though they had never played together before. Altrincham by contrast were competent, ...

What a contrast to the same game last season. It's often said that by standing still you go backards when everyone else is improving and I can't help but feel that this is the current case with Darlo. Our team is basically the same as last season (and possibly the season before when we were playing ...

Just back from the match - what a contrast from last week! Definite change of tactics, seemed to play the ball on the ground more rather than simply hoofing it up field for the Beck knock-on. Also kept two defenders back on the half way line when taking attacking corners or free kicks in the Chorley...

Tamworth had definitely done their homework. To paraphrase what he said: "Yes we'...
