Saw Danny play a few times for Aycliffe he's still a great player, a few more like him and we'll get out of this league no bother. He was also part of the Aycliffe team that won back to back promotions.

Absolutely! Now we know where we have to start from lets get cracking, get a manager in this week start looking at players and lets look at going forward and not back.

I can do some volunteering, rubbish with a bbq though so thats out, i'll book that weekend off work tomorrow so just let me know

I live in Aycliffe and welcome back anyone who wasn't a regular, for whatever reason, back with open arms for what it's worth i'll be taking the car to to home and away games next season and i'll be wanting people to car share with, the more the merrier!

Excellent chant I can see the £200,000 being achievable, the majority of people I've spoken to are glad that HE has gone and can now see where there money will be invested

I'd agree with that, and definitely a huge thankyou to fans of other clubs who came to help us out, the ones we didn't expect (Hartlepool!!!!). They showed why football is more than a game and the reason that clubs like ours shouldn't die

Now we know whats happening with OUR club we'll meet next wednesday 7.30 at the Iron Horse, sorry DL5 but if you pm me I'll make sure you're kept involved. Ideas for fundraising will be high on the agenda...come on Darlo

Cant we have a fundraising ideas thread then sticky it (or whatever you do) to the top of the messageboard then we can share/steal ideas for everyone to share?

This idea CAN and WILL work...for the first time in a long time this is OUR club and no greedy chairman can take it away from us...it will be hard work but the rewards will be worth it...I'll be able to take my lad to Darlo and tell him that he is part of this and not just another face in the crowd....

Soon! Is the brief answer. I'm going for next wednesday 8th feb, sorry DL5, with the hope the we will know what exactly is happening with the club. This will happen, loving some of the ideas for fundraising, pie n peas nights are always popular. Hopefully we can get supporters clubs organised outsid...
