Re: Gateshead - ineligible for playoffs

We've just escaped relegation by the skin of our teeth and now we're discussing League 2! Better than discussing how to get out of the Northern Premier though!

Re: Chester Away All ticket

Well it really wasn't "drab" plenty of action decent football and a party atmosphere throughout from our huge support. Asante has been decent in the past and if he's still here maybe with a solid injury free run he might just produce. I didn't see anything from him to excite me today though. Maybe M...

Re: Chester Away All ticket

The stadium is located on the Sealand Road Industrial Estate, and lies adjacent to the border between England and Wales which runs along the rear of the east stand (the main stand). But although the pitch is entirely within Flintshire, Wales, the stadium's car park, main entrance, some offices, and ...

Fantastic effort! Well done Darlington and a big cheer to our amazing management team too. Thanks too to Darlo Fans Radio for your professional approach. Looking forward to the Chester party now.

I agree with OG on this one. Mistakes were made and then put right. No point in wasting energy on Gowling and his horror show. Time to move on?

Back in the day we had the stand behind the goal all standing but now we just have that end of the side stand. Best fun was when Wrexham came in with us!

Re: The Bottom Ten, Saturday Apr 06th 2024

I'm not sure I have an "emotional attachment" to the name!! It would be interesting to know the travelling distances for North v South teams as over the years we seem to be increasingly travelling southwards and there are huge financial implications especially with so many teams being part time.

We'd be gutted if Southport went down....one of our local trips!! One of three teams to stay up by one point last year.

Re: Easter Monday at Warrington Town

It would be interesting to know how many clubs at our level (and some above) take 300 or so fans to an away game on Easter Monday. 250 mile round trip.
If the review is to be believed only Sukar and Ngandu are missing!! Maybe Asante will blow them away. Don't hold your breath.

Life was much so much simpler before filming games right down to our level and VAR. Its turned us all into expert referees and gives us angles they dont have to make quick decisions. At least Lo is speaking from experience having been there and done it.

Re: Nice bit of trivia

I've just watched a bit of Airdreonians beating TNS in the Scottish Challenge Cup!! Then I ended up looking at National League South and Taunton and Truro have so many games to play as they've been sharing Taunton's pitch. I can't believe Truro are playing at Gloucester now. That's a 400 mile round ...

Strangely I was listening to Darlo Fans Radio and heard the attendance twice, MOM and the 50/50 result!!! Don't know what my neighbours think of my shouting at goals but a fantastic result. Weren't we 10 points adrift? Crazy.

Some very loud shouting on Merseyside last night! Fantastic effort on the pitch and in the stands but the filming wasn't a patch on the mighty Kev Luff. What a boost it would be to have Siddik, Asante, Nelson, Liddle and Moke fit and available.
