Virgil's got enough to do. We'd be lucky to land his namesake Dick.

And then there's his two faced behaviour on other social media. And don't start me on his head in the sand over that seven figure sum. Damn, he's hooked me in again...

Thanks Vic, what a great piece. Exactly how he comes across, honest , committed and hard working. Didn't like the GL events adverts showing all the spiffing new stands they've supplied!

And one point behind fifth place. Unbelievable considering this team was thrown together at the start of the season. Three long term injuries, a possible goal machine waiting in the wings and a Merseysider beaming with pride tonight! Well done lads.

That exchange made me laugh! I'm not sure we'd survive on crowds of around 150?

Re: Spennymoor Away

In Pete's defence I've been watching live footie for about 46 years and I've been on the pitch twice. Once in 77 at Wolves when the reds won the league and for out last game at Feethams. I've also defended Andy as he's often merely boisterous and loud and I've never seen him cause a serious problem....

Re: Interview with Johnston on Official Website

I wonder what the experience has been like for Queens Park fans up in Scotland whose 800 or so rattle around Hampden Park with its 52,000 capacity. Mind you they own it, something I wasn't aware of. They seem to have made it work for a number of years.

Re: Interview with Johnston on Official Website

I think Accrington are a good example as their crowds are only averaging 2,764 in League 1. Their chairman talks of a 2.2 million turnover and in League 2 you get around £430,000 TV money so I think that would be sustainable and decent away followings. The big problems getting out of the National le...

Re: F A TROPHY DRAW

My lad and I took 8 mates to the trophy final 6 of them have only ever seen Darlington at that game. It's been one game in many years, the Walsall game, that's caused some moaning. More than a tad bitter. And we really wouldn't run out of Wembley tickets!
